• When budgeting allow 10% for cost of purchase
• Currency exchange - How many pounds do you need to buy the property in euros
• Ensure you have a reservation deposit and further funds available when Booking your inspection trip
• Negotiate the purchase
• Appoint a solicitor to formalise a contract agreeing the terms and conditions make sure all is in order
• Only then Pay the reservation deposit
• Solicitor to carry out all legal checks
• Open bank account
• Organise N.I.E. number
• Complete the sale at the Notary & Registration
• Arrange a Spanish will
