Costa Blanca South

The Costa Blanca South runs from the city of Alicante in the north to San Pedro del Pinatar in the south. The area is a mix of picturesque villages, vibrant towns, traditional ports, modern marinas, nature reserves, internationally renowned golf courses and beautiful beaches.

Torrevieja and surrounding area has become one of the most popular locations for UK home buyers in the last 20 years. A boat trip along the coastline is one of the best ways to view the little towns, magnificent white beaches and picturesque towers that have given the region its name.

There’s plenty to keep you occupied in Torrevieja with its English influences there are fashionable shops and boutiques every conceivable type of shop. For the energetic, every type of sport is available and in the evenings night clubs, cinemas, bowling etc its truly a vibrant place with something for everyone.

To the north lies the main city Alicante, here you will find 6km of glorious beaches. There’s a busy harbour and of course the airport.

Further down the coast  comes Guardamar del Segura, a haven for lovers of natural beauty. There’s 14km of sandy beaches, many have been awarded the blue flag. See the stunning views take a walk through the Dunas de Guardamar, an 840 hectare  of forest park, or walk in the Reina Sofia Park with its lakes and waterfalls, some wonderful sights.

A short distance to the south of Torrevieja lies an area called Villamartin renowned with the golfing fraternity for its many great golf  courses,  luxury villas and apartments.

The main airports are Alicante and Murcia. Travelling is made easy with the good road network.
